City Technical Lead – Manila
Project: The Challenge Initiative (ASRH)
Duration: until December 31, 2025
The City Technical Lead assigned to an area is responsible for engaging, coaching, and monitoring the city leadership team on the implementation of their city strategy and contribution to the achievement of outcomes for reproductive health. S/he will represent The Challenge Initiative (TCI) project in high-impact activities, workshops, and meetings with city partners, national government agencies (DOH, CPD), and international partners. S/he will establish administrative, management, and dissemination systems to meet the TCI’s project objectives. S/he will ensure quality knowledge management, monitoring and evaluation of data, and development and submission of project reports that will be reviewed by the TCI Chief of Party, Deputy Chief of Party, and M&E and other senior leadership positions in ZFF & TCI.
Essential Job Functions
- With a degree in social development or public health-related course
- With at least three to five (3-5) years of relevant work experience in health & development sector
- Has technical knowledge in sexual & reproductive health (family planning, maternal & child health)
- Has technical skills in coaching and communication with LGU staff
- Has experience in engaging with LGUs (city health office, executive positions)
- Must have competent to exemplar skills in project implementation, training management, monitoring and evaluation, capacity building activities
- Must be familiar with the local government and national agency operations
- Must be knowledgeable in using Microsoft office applications, sorting, analyzing and displaying of data
