Provincial Associate Officer – Surigao del Norte and Catanduanes

Project: Minimum Initial Service Package for Sexual and Reproductive Health

Duration: until December 31, 2025

 

The Provincial Associate is responsible for the implementation of the Minimum Initial Service Package (MISP) Program in Surigao del Norte and Catanduanes as enhanced under the 9th Country Program to strengthen Local government unit capacities for better reproductive health outcomes. The associate will work to harmonize and integrate MISP in the provincial strategies in implementing Universal Health care and Disaster Risk Reduction and Management for Health, ensuring that MISP activities and objectives in the province and covered municipalities are aligned to and contribute to the achievement of Department of Health and other relevant line agencies’ Regional Strategies. 

Essential Job Functions

  • With at least 3 years of relevant work experience in health and development sector
  • Has exemplar skills in project management
  • Preferably with 12 to 30 units of graduate studies in Public Health, Local Health System, Community Development, or alike
  • Has competent knowledge and skills in computer and software applications
  • Should be a self starter and should be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Can deal with all levels within the organization in providing technical support
  • Has the ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Knowledgeable in social innovations
  • Has good presentation and technical writing skills
  • Has resilience and grit in complex and challenging situations
